Contours Ceiling Installation
In collaboration with Kendall Buster (USA)
The organic and flowing floorplan of gardens and walkways guided the conceptualisation of a ceiling installation. Comprising interconnected translucent organic forms, the installation produced a 3D cloud effect above the guests.
The clouds became a dramatic focal point in their representation of landscape as well as architecture. The composition of the stacked planes resembled the topography of a land map or a building plan. When viewed from different perspectives, the horizontal levels of the installation compressed and expanded in an intriguing visual effect.
