Morning Mist Performance & Stage Design

Captivating visual concepts guided the stage design for the wedding Morning Mist.

The stage was designed to look like a snow globe, alluding to the magical moment that happens when a snow globe is shaken. A range of different sized fresnel lenses framed the stage. Producing a magnifying effect, these lenses created an optical illusion through an interplay of reflection and colour.

The bride emerged from the forest on the stage as if in a fairytale, intermittently visible and hidden as she made her way down the curved pathway. As she walked, snow fell from above to produce a snow globe moment.

Dynamic and flowing dance choreography by Andrey Fomin added to the fantasy. The movement of the dancers on the stage effectively complemented the motion of the floating fabrics from the suspended ceiling installations above the dining area.
